Speaker Bios
Tom Caleb, Partnerships Manager, Ofcom
Tom joined Ofcom Online Safety in September 2025 having spent over twenty years at the NCA and precursors, most recently as the Fraud Threat Lead. His background was an Intelligence Officer, and he undertook a wide range of roles at the NCA, including Anti Kidnap and Extortion Unit, Anti Corruption, and a range of roles across economic crime. His primary role at Ofcom is to build strong working relationships with key partner agencies, to ensure that the fraud ecosystem understands Ofcom’s responsibilities, and that they draw-in insights and intelligence from partners to inform Ofcom’s approach to online fraud.
Lauren Evans, Policy Manager, Ofcom
Lauren is a Policy Manager in the Fraud Policy team, and Chairperson of the Dedicated Reporting Channel (DRC) Working Group.
Dan Mount, Principal Officer, Ofcom
Dan is Principal Officer in Ofcom Supervision, leading teams that provide supervisory relationships with online platforms. Dan was also previously the Lead in Ofcom Online Safety Group for fraud policy.
